Handmade in Selma, Alabama since 1946, the Otey R38H Blade brings back a model that left the shop fifty years ago. The Model 38 is built from Otey's original plates, and each head is finished and stamped by Otey Crisman III. It is made for golfers who want the honest feedback of a classic blade.

905 Red Brass Head The "R" in R38H. The head is one solid piece of 905 red brass, a softer alloy that gives a warm, solid feel and a deep sound at impact. 

905 Brass is commonly known as Gunmetal for its strength, adaptability and high corrosion resistance. 

The Model 38 Blade A goose-neck blade with a flanged sole and a heavier head. The flange carries the weight low and back, and the added mass holds the line through the stroke.

Hickory Shaft The "H" in R38H. Each shaft is heat-dried, hand-turned, and lacquer-sealed to preserve natural flex and resist moisture.

Leather-Wrapped Grip Hand-wrapped in premium leather for firm control and an authentic vintage feel.
